Depression is when a body is fighting to survive with a mind that wants to die. Some of us have sad moments…Then some of us have really sad moments that feel like we are spiraling into a back pit with no light insight. It is really painful. Sometimes we feel so empty and hopeless. But it’s not totally impossible to understand what is going on with us or that it is only temporary. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that our mind that is telling horrible things is lying to us and we may not be seeing the reality always of a situation when we are feeling this down.
Some of us suffer from a depression so low we do not always understand that the pain is from that. We have to remind ourselves during those times that this is what this moment it….Depression. Sometimes we have to fight an inner fight in order to have control over our life.. Sometimes it feels like we are losing. Sometimes we need help from a doctor. Just because you may need help doesn’t mean anything bad against you and you shouldn’t be ashamed for wanting good mental health. Mental health is just as important as physical health.
Love yourself enough to remind yourself that you are more important than the darkness holding on to you. Remind yourself that what mean things your mind is telling you is lies…..Love yourself enough to get help you may need.
Don’t make a permanent decision based on a temporary situation….Always remember that suicide is never the answer…..Instead of solving your pain, it just passes it on to the people who love you that are left behind.
